山海关桥梁厂现为中铁山桥集团，前身为始建于1894年的北洋官铁路局山海关造桥厂，是中国第一家制造钢桥和铁路道岔产品的企业，被誉为“中国钢桥的摇篮、道岔的故乡”。2018年，该厂入选第二批国家工业遗产名单，核心物项包括原钢梁车间厂房、清光绪二十四年桥牌、两米铣边机床、铁道部山海关桥梁工厂志等珍贵文物，2019年又荣列中国工业遗产保护名录（第二批）。这里完整记录了桥梁钢结构和铁路道岔的技术革新历程。

位于海港区东山街的开滦矿务局秦皇岛电厂，主体建筑始建于1928年，为枣红色外墙的巴洛克风格建筑。2013年被列入全国第七批重点文物保护单位，2015年启动抢救性修缮，秉持“修旧如旧”原则保留原始风貌。2016年开馆后转型为全国首家依托发电厂房建成的电力主题博物馆——秦皇岛电力博物馆，成为承载城市记忆的文化地标。2025年7月，该馆入选中国电力工业遗产名录，成为展示中国电力发展史的重要窗口。
