<strong>本报讯（记者</strong>陈引玉<strong> 通讯员</strong>贾一凡<strong>）</strong>4月23日是世界读书日，昌黎县西王庄村新农村图书馆内，一场线下读书交流活动火热进行。辖区村民、读书爱好者、机关企事业单位干部职工及退休老党员等40余人齐聚一堂，静心品读经典、分享好文好书。

坐落于西王庄村的新农村图书馆，由本地退休老干部赵润明与妻子于1981年自发创办。40余年来，夫妻二人扎根乡村、默默坚守，持续整合藏书资源、自筹资金购置新书，坚持书屋免费对外开放，日复一日为周边群众提供公益阅读服务。目前，该农村书屋藏书总量达10万余册。

近年来，昌黎县始终高度重视全民阅读工作，持续完善县、乡、村三级阅读服务体系，统筹推进农家书屋规范化建设、提质增效工作，不断夯实基层文化阵地。

今年以来，全县已依托农家书屋等举办了“以书为伴，悦享春天”“品书赏韵，悦读碣石”“书香润心灵，阅读启人生”“大手牵小手，书香伴成长”等主题读书会、全民阅读分享等活动50余场，参与人数超3000人次。如今，遍布昌黎乡村的418个农家书屋，已成为丰富群众精神文化生活、助力农民增收、推动乡村治理的“文化粮仓”。
